SEO that includes the fix
Most SEO engagements produce a document. Someone crawls your site, sends a spreadsheet of problems, and the problems stay there because your developers are busy shipping features and the list has 300 rows sorted by tool severity rather than by what would actually make a difference.
We are engineers, so we do the repairs. The audit is the first two weeks, not the deliverable.
How an engagement runs
The order matters. Content on a site with technical problems is money spent on pages Google struggles to crawl, index or rank. We fix the foundations first, which is also the fastest part to show a result.
Our own website is the case study
In August 2026 we audited the previous version of appwizards.in, our own site, and it was not good. Some of what the crawl found:
| What we found on our old site | The site you are reading |
|---|---|
| Lighthouse performance 64 on mobile, largest paint at 10.2 seconds | 95 and above, largest paint under 3 seconds |
| 82 of 85 pages had no meta description | Every page has one, and the build fails without it |
| 17 pages returned server errors under a normal crawl | Static pages, no server to fall over |
| 286 images with no alt text | None, and the content check refuses to build without it |
| A robots file listing 21 sitemaps that did not exist | One generated sitemap that cannot go stale |
| Placeholder text and debug output on live pages | A lint step that blocks both |
We rebuilt it rather than patching it, and we made the checks part of the build so it cannot rot again. That is the same approach we bring to your site, and it is why we are comfortable being judged on ours.
Getting cited in AI answers
A growing share of buyers now ask an assistant before they search, and being invisible there is the new version of being on page two. What actually helps:
- Answer the question in the first sentence of the section, then explain. Assistants quote the direct answer, not the build-up.
- Structured data describing your organisation, services, articles and frequently asked questions, so machines can read your pages as facts rather than prose.
- Consistency across the web. The same business name, address, phone number and description everywhere, because contradictions make a source look unreliable.
- Pages worth citing, with specific numbers, methods and honest trade-offs rather than marketing adjectives.
Most of this overlaps with good technical SEO, which is why we treat them as one service rather than selling a separate AI package.
Local SEO
For a business with a physical presence, local search is usually the quickest win. Google Business Profile filled in properly and kept active, location pages that are genuinely different from each other, consistent details across directories, and a steady flow of reviews from real customers.
What we do not do
Measurement
We connect Search Console and analytics properly, agree what a good month looks like, and report against it: impressions and clicks for the terms that matter, indexing health, Core Web Vitals, and the enquiries that arrived. If the number that matters to you is enquiries, we report on enquiries.
Where SEO meets the rest of the work
If your site is slow or hard to change, an SEO retainer will keep paying to work around it. Sometimes the honest recommendation is a rebuild, which is web and SaaS development, or a store replatform, which is e-commerce development. We will tell you which conversation you are actually in.
