What we collect, and when
Browsing this site requires no account and asks you for nothing. We receive personal information in exactly three situations, each one started by you:
- The enquiry form collects your name, email address, your message, and optionally your company, budget band and timeline, along with the page you sent it from.
- Booking a call happens through Calendly, embedded on our booking page. What you enter there goes to Calendly under Calendly's privacy notice, and we receive the booking details.
- Emailing, calling or messaging us directly gives us whatever you include, handled the same way as an enquiry.
Where it goes
Enquiries are delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and live in our business email from then on. We do not run a marketing database, and submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything. We use what you send to reply to you, and for nothing else without asking.
The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations, as almost every website's hosting does.
Cookies and analytics
This site runs Microsoft Clarity, and that is the only analytics on it. Clarity records how people use the pages: clicks, scrolls, mouse movement and the path taken through the site, which it replays for us as anonymised session recordings and aggregates into heatmaps. It sets its own cookies in your browser to recognise a returning session, and the data it collects is processed by Microsoft under their privacy statement.
We use it for one thing: finding where a page confuses people or breaks. Clarity masks the contents of form fields by default, so what you type into the enquiry form is not visible in a recording, and we do not use it to identify individuals.
One thing worth stating plainly, because it is easy to miss: Clarity also sets Microsoft advertising cookies and exchanges an identifier with Bing. That is Microsoft's behaviour rather than a setting we chose, and it means the cookies it leaves are not purely analytical. If you would rather not be recorded, a browser extension that blocks trackers, or your browser's own tracking protection, will stop all of it, and the site works exactly the same without it.
The site also loads Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager. That records the ordinary things: which pages are visited, how people arrived, roughly where in the world they are, and which device they used. It sets Google's own analytics cookies to tell a returning visit from a new one. We look at it in aggregate to see which pages are worth keeping, and we do not use it to identify individuals.
The site also runs Vercel Analytics, from the company that hosts it. It counts page views and where visitors came from, and unlike the two above it sets no cookies and does not track anyone between sites or across visits.
Those three, Clarity, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, are the only tracking on this site. All of them can be blocked by your browser's tracking protection or any tracker-blocking extension, and the site behaves identically without them. The embedded Calendly widget on the booking page loads from Calendly and may set its own cookies on that page only.
How long we keep enquiries
Enquiries are business correspondence, so we keep them for up to three years in case a conversation resumes, then delete them. If you would like yours deleted sooner, ask and we will do it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to contact@appwizards.in and we will respond within 30 days. This is also our grievance contact under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we will never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for. If a law or a court requires disclosure, we will disclose only what is required.
Changes
If this site starts doing more with data than described here, this page changes first and the effective date above moves with it. Material changes will be noted plainly rather than buried.
