What we build

What you get: specific deliverables, not a list of capabilities.

01Shopify and Shopify Plus storesCustom themes, app integrations and the checkout tuning that matters more than the homepage. Fastest route to selling if your catalogue fits how Shopify thinks.
02Headless storefrontsA Next.js storefront in front of Shopify, a commerce API or your own backend, for brands that have outgrown theme limits and care about page speed.
03Marketplaces and multi-vendor platformsSeller onboarding, catalogues, commissions, split payouts, disputes and the admin tools that keep both sides of a marketplace honest.
04Payments and logistics for IndiaUPI, cards, wallets and cash on delivery through Razorpay, PayU or Stripe, with GST invoices, and courier integrations for Shiprocket, Delhivery and the rest.
05Replatforming and migrationMoving from WooCommerce, Magento or a custom store without losing your URLs, your rankings or your order history.
06Growth work after launchCore Web Vitals, checkout analytics, A/B tests and the AI search and recommendations that lift basket size, measured against a control group.

What e-commerce development actually involves

The storefront is the easy half. A store that makes money also needs a checkout that works on a weak connection, payments your customers already trust, tax invoices that satisfy your accountant, inventory that matches reality, courier integrations, returns, and an admin panel your operations team can use during a sale without calling you.

Shopify is not a compromise. For most brands it is the fastest route to revenue, and the monthly fee costs less than the engineering time you would spend replacing what it gives you. We will say so even though a custom build is a bigger project for us.

Built for how India buys

Selling in India has requirements an overseas template ignores:

  • Cash on delivery. Still a large share of orders in many categories, and it changes everything downstream: address verification, fraud rules, partial prepayment, courier reconciliation and returns.
  • UPI first. The checkout should open with the method most of your customers actually use, not with a card form.
  • GST invoices. Correct place of supply, HSN codes and tax splits, generated automatically at order time.
  • Courier reality. Serviceability by pincode, weight and dimension rules, and integrations with Shiprocket, Delhivery and their peers so tracking is not a manual job.
  • Slow connections and modest phones. A checkout that assumes fast Wi-Fi on a new iPhone quietly loses you orders every day.

Speed is a revenue feature

Page speed and conversion move together, and commerce is where that link is easiest to see. We build for Core Web Vitals from the start: images in modern formats and correctly sized, the catalogue rendered on the server, third-party scripts kept on a short leash, and a checkout that stays responsive when the network does not.

Marketing tags are the usual culprit. We measure what each one costs you in load time and tell you when a tag is paying for itself in data and losing you more in abandoned carts.

Adding AI where it lifts basket size

Three additions justify themselves in commerce more often than others:

  1. Search that understands meaning, so "something warm for a two year old" returns the right products instead of nothing.
  2. Recommendations based on what people actually buy together in your store, not a generic widget.
  3. A support agent that knows the order, the policy and when to escalate, which absorbs the "where is my order" messages that swamp your inbox after every sale.

We ship each behind a feature flag with a control group, so you can see the effect on conversion before rolling it out. The details are on AI integration.

Replatforming without losing your rankings

Migrations go wrong in a predictable way: the store looks better, and organic traffic halves. We map every old URL to its new one before launch, preserve the category and product structures that already rank, move order history and customer accounts, and watch rankings daily through the switch.

What it costs and how long it takes

Shopify builds usually run 6 to 10 weeks, headless storefronts 10 to 16, and marketplaces 16 to 20 or more. The price is fixed after discovery. If your store needs a companion app, see mobile app development; if it is really a platform with subscriptions and accounts, see web and SaaS development.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about E-commerce Development.

How much does e-commerce website development cost in India?

A Shopify store with a custom theme typically costs 2 to 6 lakh, a headless storefront 8 to 20 lakh, and a multi-vendor marketplace 20 lakh and above. The catalogue size, the number of integrations and whether you need a marketplace are what move the number most.

Should we use Shopify or build a custom store?

Use Shopify if you are selling a normal catalogue and want to be live in weeks; it handles payments, taxes and hosting for a monthly fee. Build custom or headless when your pricing, bundling or fulfilment rules do not fit Shopify's model, or when page speed is costing you money.

Do you integrate Indian payment methods like UPI and cash on delivery?

Yes. UPI, cards, wallets, net banking and EMI through Razorpay, PayU or Cashfree, and cash on delivery with the order rules it needs: address verification, partial prepayment options, and reconciliation when the courier settles.

Can you generate GST invoices?

Yes. GST-compliant invoices with correct place of supply, HSN codes and tax splits, generated at order time and available to your accounts team and your customer. We build this into the order flow rather than bolting it on later.

Do you build multi-vendor marketplaces?

Yes. Seller onboarding and KYC, per-seller catalogues and pricing, commission rules, split payouts, order routing and dispute handling, plus the admin tooling your operations team needs to run it daily.

Can you migrate our store from WooCommerce or Magento?

Yes, and the important part is doing it without losing search traffic. We map every old URL to its new one, keep product and category structures where they rank, move customers and order history, and monitor rankings through the switch.

Will the new store be good for SEO?

Yes. Product and category pages get proper titles, descriptions and Product structured data so prices and availability can show in search results, and we build for Core Web Vitals rather than fixing speed later.

Do you support the store after launch?

Yes, on a monthly plan covering platform updates, courier and payment gateway changes, seasonal campaign work and monitoring. Sale days are when stores break, so we agree in advance who is watching.
